What I do remember is sitting in my spare bedroom in my apartment at the time, with the DEC rack-mounted power supply, six SGI Indys, a Sun SPARC, and G3 tower, reading this website for hours on end, prompting my then live-in girlfriend (after literally weeks of this) to yell "WHAT THE FUCK ON THE INTERNET ARE YOU READING FOR SIX HOURS STRAIGHT? That was pretty much when I joined up.
