Metafilter found me. Acridrabbit posted a link to my blog, where I called bullshit on Kaycee Nicole's death. And it kind of spiraled out of control from there. :)
Grandma's Comic Sans
In a thread about Comic Sans, where a guy tells a story about him and his friends having a contest about the most inappropriate use of comic sans. And he had mentioned it to his grandmother. Who had subsequently died. And when he was going through her things, he found a brochure about funeral planning or something like that, and in his grandmother's handwriting, found a note pointing to the text that says COMIC SANS!!!
I have no idea why that is my fondest memory, but it really is. It's personal and special and well, I think of it often.
